Understanding the 2018 Farm Bill
The 2018 Farm Bill legalized hemp and hemp-derived products at the federal level, defining hemp as any cannabis plant containing no more than 0.3% total THC on a dry weight basis. This includes all naturally occurring cannabinoids and derivatives such as THCa. Dank To Your Door only sells hemp-derived products that meet this legal definition and ensures that total THC content remains below the federal threshold before distribution.
Certificates of Analysis (COAs)
Each product listing on our website includes a downloadable Certificate of Analysis (COA) that corresponds to its specific batch or lot number. These reports are performed by independent laboratories and confirm both potency and purity. COAs are also accessible through the QR code printed on every Dank To Your Door package, allowing you to instantly verify lab results for your product.
Total THC Calculation
Our COAs display both THCa and Delta-9 THC results. Total THC is calculated using the federally recognized post-decarboxylation formula:
Total THC = (THCa × 0.877) + Δ9-THC
This ensures that the reported value reflects the true potential THC level after heating, maintaining compliance with federal hemp standards.
Labeling and Transparency
Every product label includes key compliance information:
- Batch or lot number
- Net weight
- Hemp origin (state or farm)
- Cannabinoid content including total THC
- Testing laboratory name and date
- Scannable QR code linking to the COA
Our labeling is designed to meet or exceed all hemp regulatory guidelines, ensuring traceability from seed to sale.
Packaging Standards
We use tamper-evident, odor-proof, and child-resistant packaging whenever applicable. Packaging includes federally required hemp disclaimers such as “Contains hemp-derived cannabinoids” and “For adult use only (21+).” All orders are shipped in plain packaging with no visible branding or product identifiers.
State and Federal Compliance
Dank To Your Door does not sell or ship to states or jurisdictions that prohibit hemp-derived THCa products.
